…. dream about me.

Oh shit, Amy I just had the LONGEST dream ever and it was allll about you. It felt like several hours of lucid dreaming. It was of course.. heaven! Are you ready?

—-Dream starts here—-

So I meet you up, and we’re in this huge zeppelin headed towards Tokyo (or some other Japanese city - it’s all very rural and dutch, which I know sounds 100% contradictive.) There’s this epic sense, that we’ve made all the plans to spend, like, forever in Japan. So when we get off the zeppelin, we somehow get lost in these NDSM-like suburban, almost rural abandoned industrial grounds, and we walk in this huge barn, with people in it, and the floor is all sand (like one of those lounge-y barns at Roskilde Festival)

So okay, throughout this whole this thing, there’s this sweet tingling sensation, that we’re just the best of pals who haven’t seen each other in forever, but since our relationship is so low maintenance, it’s the easiest way to spend time, and we’re sightseeing in a way that’s not at all a drag, you know. Nobody’s tired, nobody’s too hungry. We’re both all relaxed smiles, and we share this deep sensation of just enjoying the shit out of each other! And of course everything about Japan (which is also 10% Holland) is super cool! So then we go to this pub-themed bar, in what seems to be a European middle ages-themed part of town, and Stephen Fry’s there (I mean, how blessed can you be in your dreams, right?)

So Stephen Fry’s there, and he serves us fish & chips, but it’s like he’s aware that he’s an actor PORTRAYING a waiter, and you and I send each other this knowing look, which says “Don’t you just love this?”. Stephen Fry’s in on this too, so he’s sort of chuckling behind the counter while wiping off the glasses. And it’s like it was all part of this big plan for our One Fun Day together.

So then out in the streets again you accidentally grab my hand, and it actually makes me kind of awkward, even though I don’t make any mention of it. So I slip my fingers out, and at this point we’re both COMPLETELY lost, even though it’s not a problem. But we enter this little typical Japanese steel train going through the city, and in the train we meet my twin brother with some of his friends. I’m so hoping that the two of you will hit it off, but for some reason he sparks all these deeply uninteresting conversations, and at one point he’s describing the springs in the mattress of his bed, which is just - SO boring - and I just shake my head at him in disbelief while looking at you.

—-Dream ends here—-

And this is where I wake up from a fly crawling on my face in my grand parents’ beach house with Mathias by my side. Amy, this was truly one of the most realistic dreams I’ve ever had, and I honestly almost feel like, I’ve just spent an entire day with you - I just desperately wanted to write it down to you before it slips my mind. I swear, I don’t even feel sure, I’m in this beach house right now, it was that real!

So now I’ve spent all my juices describing this dream when really I could be catching up on all sorts of stuff. But that’s for later! Take care sweet Amy, love ya much! e
