Our first post is dedicated to Seoul Bakery (55 St Giles High Street, WC2H 8LH.) Nestled away behind Tottenham Court Road, Seoul Bakery is easy to overlook crammed between various other small Korean restaurants. However, Seoul Bakery boasts some of the best Korean dishes this city has to offer. You may have to queue for awhile (their “waiting area” is above a Korean Hair Salon if you fancy a trim) but once you sit down at one of their 3 communal tables, you’re in for a real treat. Their veggie BimBimBap comes up at a mere £3.50 with a side of kimchi for £1.50 and portions size err on the generous side. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Everytime we’ve gone they’ve always brought over a jug of water and the delicious hot sauce upon us sitting down. Make sure to bring some funky coloured pens with you, as the walls are adorned with sticky fan notes and tales of love …. also, if you’re looking for a quick gift, they’ve got a nice selection of socks, treats, toys and other eccentric Korean memoribilia on sale near the counter. Make sure to check out Seoul Bakery for some Korean cheap eats!

JOY APPAREL
Joy Apparel
is a socially conscious T-shirt company that promotes peace and equality on a global scale. Every face found on the T-shirts are hand-drawn sketches of real people. When you wear your shirt, you are encouraged to think about that person and how your everyday actions can affect others and the world we live in.
After purchasing a shirt, you may then participate in this global project by submitting a photo of your own visage, which will then be drawn by hand and posted on the website for the rest of the world to wear.
Wearing a Joy T-shirt is about taking an active stance against racism and discrimination. It is about loving your neighbor, because in some way or another we are all connected!
People are encouraged to discuss their opinions about this project and to come up with other awesome projects to connect everyone!
